Snipkey does not collect, store on any server, sell, or share your personal data. Your snippets stay in your browser.
Your snippets and settings are saved with the browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). They are not synced or uploaded by Snipkey. Text you type is examined only inside the page to detect your triggers; it is never recorded or transmitted.
Snipkey is currently free. If a paid Pro plan is offered in the future and you buy it, payment will be handled by our payment provider (Polar), which acts as the merchant of record and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. When you activate Pro, your license key will be sent to the provider's license API to confirm it is valid, and is re-checked occasionally. No other data is sent.
Snipkey contains no analytics, tracking or advertising code.
